Case Study 3: Entrepreneurship & Upskilling Mission
Challenge:
Rural Men & Women, faced limited exposure to entrepreneurship and lacked access to training or mentorship to start
small-scale businesses.
Opsis Intervention:
Opsis Foundation launched a Entrepreneurship Series — conducting seminars, workshops, and mentorship sessions in
partnership with educational institutions and CSR collaborators like MSME FORUM.
Sessions covered business planning, marketing, digital literacy, and financial inclusion.
Outcome:
• 100+ seminars held across Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.
• 200+ women trained and supported in establishing home-based and micro enterprises.
• Formation of self-help groups (SHGs) that now operate collectively in food processing, tailoring, and local craft production.
“OPSIS Foundation’s workshop gave me the courage to start my own beauty salon. I now employ two other women from
my village.”
