Blood Donation Camps
Challenge:
Urban centers often face shortages of blood for emergency medical care, and voluntary blood donation rates remain low.
Opsis Intervention:
Opsis Foundation conducted Blood Donation Camps in Nehru Place Market, Delhi, partnering with local hospitals and volunteers to:
• Collect safe and screened blood donations.
• Raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.
Outcome:
• 500+ units of blood collected.
• Awareness campaigns reached over 5,000 community members.
• Strengthened hospital resources for emergency transfusions.
